BDTW NewsFlow: Smalls to Announce Final Teams Soon

In an announcement that took observers off guard, Five Star OLB Sav’ell Smalls of Kennedy Catholic High School (Burien, WA) tweeted out that he would be announcing his top schools “soon”.

Smalls had previously formally pared his list of schools under consideration to twelve in February. A few months later he caused consternation among Husky fans by telling reporters that the University of Washington was no longer under consideration.BDTW Target Profile

Despite that declaration, and the uproar it caused at the time, we fully expect Washington to be among the teams on his final list when he releases it.
