BDTW Newsflow: Sav’ell Smalls Commits to UW
We had been feeling increasingly confident that Smalls would end up staying home to play for the Huskies over recent weeks, but it feels so good to see it actually occur.
Keeping a 5-star at home is a big deal, especially with the way top talent has been leaking out of the Pac-12’s footprint recently. This sets the Dawgs up to close out the 2020 class on a high note and take that momentum into a 2021 recruiting cycle that offers nearly limitless potential for UW.
We’ll have lots more to say about this in coming days, but this moment is sweet and should be savored.
#Washington shoots up five spots to No. 12 in the @247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings, now the No. 1 class in the #Pac12 with the pledge from Sav'ell Smalls the new jewel of this 2020 haul: https://t.co/scWpbC15sR https://t.co/Z6AOOm7rF0
