Despite the photo selection in that Tweet, don’t get your hopes up too high: it won’t be Sav’ell Smalls.
But we do think something may be up. Our knowledgeable friend, Sonics1993, has been adamant that DB Elijah Jackson (Lawndale, CA) has already committed and was just waiting to commit until after the storm of recruiting activity this weekend had blown over.
Jackson’s teammate Makell Esteen committed on Sunday. Given that they are teammates and that Esteen is the higher profile recruit, Jackson taking a couple days to let that news settle before he made his commitment public makes a certain amount of sense.
