I’m pretty sure that Pete stepped down before signing day so he wasn’t signed yet and UCLA could still contact him to try to flip him before signing day.

Garbers went into the transfer portal last week and UCLA wasted no time contacting him. The Bruins were a finalist when Garbers originally committed to the Huskies and they also reached out to him after Chris Petersen stepped down at UW last December.
There must be some exception for when a HC leaves, but seems like that could/should be a violation by UCLA?

They put rules in before the season that the average number of games determines who can win the division. So if 2 more games along with our game gets canceled then the average games played is moved down to 5 in the conference and then divisions would be disregarded and if CU and USC both win this week with two games canceled then it would be a CU USC Pac 12 ship
Can someone explain what Fetters and Jen are saying about needing ‘all the games to be played’ this weekend?
Is it something like if the average games played per team is under a value then the rules change?
Because otherwise it’s been talked about this whole time by everyone what the rules were and it looks like there’s no way UW isn’t the North champion, whether they can play in the P12CG or not.

That Daniels/King type of leadership was really nonexistent from last year and we saw what happened. If we get some vocal leaders like that, we could see a big year. Those leaders also brought that swagger and excitement that each guy had from that team. It seemed as if Petersen really brought the whole team down last year

I’m thinking Bronson and Taylor. I think Taylor will have a big year Bc last year everyone threw at McDuffie but teams will now shy away from him and giving Taylor a huge year.
Not sure who it was last year or in 2018 but we’ve had a trend in recent years of a senior making a leap.
Anyway, here are some candidates: Keith Taylor, Jacob Kizer, Josiah Bronson, Luke Wattenberg, Kamari Pleasant, Sean McGrew, Jordan Chin.

You are so hung up on preseason rankings. There is a reason a season is played and the CFP trophy isn’t handed out before the season and the preseason heisman favorite isn’t awarded the heisman going into the season.

Fuck sonics. He said that he’d give us a recruiting update at the beginning of June and he hasn’t come through yet.
Probably because there’s nothing to report right now and there won’t be much to report until these kids can take visits again or the season starts, whichever comes first. It’s going to be a dry Summer as far as UW recruiting goes and a wet Fall and Winter. Just accept it now. Less commits now means more commits and excitement later. Enjoy the Summer weather that’s on the way. Get out of the house and go do something. If you’re waiting every day for some UW recruiting momentum to spark, it’s gonna be a LONG summer for you because it ain’t gonna happen anytime soon. Our time will come and it will be well worth the wait. Believe that.
