We can actually watch a game this weekend! How about some more threads around here, particularly from those (not me) who know stuff – football stuff, UW stuff.

Albeit a short and odd season, but let’s have some enthusiasm for what we have. Go Dawgs.

Excited for the game this weekend! Most teams make a big improvement from game 1 to game 2. Defensive players have been talking this week about the issues from the last game they have been fixing. Jimmy lake mentioned we could see a much different gameplan from the offense this week. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out against a team that is notch up in talent from osu

Arizona is going to be more lively on offense. This game needs us to take that next step forward.

Only a 10% chance of rain on Saturday so the weather conditions are looking good to see the passing game opened up more. I hope our receivers come to play this time. Gotta throw the ball more to Cotton as well. Especially in the red zone or high red zone. We know Cotton ain’t dropping shit.

I’m less irritated about the offense five days later. I still think it’s flawed logic and not the right strategy if we want to win titles but since we are likely stuck with it until the end of 2021 at least, im rolling with it.

It’s only going to work if the WRs make plays when given the opportunity. So Jones, Puka, Bynum, Rome, Jalen…you get an easy start with OSU and Arizona. You kind of botched your opportunities versus the beavs so let’s go fuck up sone wildcats down the field.

AZ has a mobile QB and a really good RB, Brightwell.

I think we’re good to give up 200+ on ground.

Hopefully we get an early lead and make them passs.

This game has me really concerned, even though I think SC is overrated this year and making Arizona look slightly better than they are.

We have to come out and really improve on the mistakes of last week.

I can see Arizona trying to run on us and encouraging Gunnel to get first downs with his feet before trying to force anything mid-long range in the passing game.

If we are going to run even just 50/50 this week, the running back platooning needs to stop and they need to get the 2 best guys going.

I think Arizona has somewhat of an off game.

Against USC it was their first game and at home. This is a road game
and the surprise is gone.
