Ex specialists we have an 89.62 average.

Oregon’s is lower and when they lose Wilson it will be 88.7, almost a full point lower.

Of course this all fluid.

I am confident that Oregon will close with some solid talent but I’m also confident Lake will too. Really the question is, can Cristonuts hang on to talent plus add a few pieces? If so, I’d guess Oregon’s class will look very equal in rankings to UWs. And equal is advantage UW given the development differences

it’ll be interesting what happens is Cristalballz has any sustained success because Oregon is still just a stepping stone program.

UW is a destination (Sark notwithstanding).

Oregon has badly outcoached us last two games. Neither loss was due to talent.

Oregon adds talent any way they can. We would be wise to take that lesson.

Tre’Shaun is test #1 for us in that regard. He’s a talent and it would make sense for him to come home. Get him on the damn team and see what we’ve got.

I think Jimmy understands this well, but the proof is in the pudding – if TH is on our roster next spring, that’s a huge win IMO. If not, I am going to worry a bit.

The beauty of adding guys like TH is it shows our current players they can’t get complacent because we are willing to bring in uber-talented guys all the time. Would TH be a WR? A RB? A Safety? Who the fuck cares. Get him in the program and worst case he would be an amazing kick returner (something we have lacked post John Ross).

Showing we are willing to take talent and play the best guys sends a message.
