This kid is really good. I’m not sure why he doesn’t have offers, but he jumps off the film. This is what you want kids to look like, Imo.

It’s wild how far down our DB board we have gone to find a commit. We have to be on our plan E guys right but I agree this guy looks like a good prospect.

this is such a terrible take. when are people gonna understand? you need to reload EVERY SINGLE YEAR. you lag in recruiting one year, it’s going to take its toll for the next several and when those recruits are seniors, forget about it. i’m surprised you didn’t comp him to Richard Sherman.

I’d comp him to Kevin King. We are reloading this cycle. Just not with guys who are rated as high as they deserve to be because our coaches are smarter than everybody else and good at finding underrated talent. Just wait and see how good this class turns out to be. It’ll probably be a top-5 class in the country when re-ranked five years from now.

I don’t think we should make excuses for poor recruiting but the idea that this class is the reason they can’t make the playoff again in nonsense. If Sam Huard becomes one of the top QBs in the country, this team can easily win the Pac-12 and get to the playoff. QB is by far the most important position, if your QB is elite, your floor and ceiling are drastically elevated.
Add in some good receivers (Jalen, Rome, Emeka?) and a defense that should be able to perform similarly as long as Jimmy is in charge and it’s not hard to think this team is a contender to win the P12 and get to the playoff.

As you well know programs that recruit like Jimmy is this year have never won a national championship and UW won’t be the program that breaks that trend. Your standards for the program match up more with Jen Cohen and Marie Curci who are just happy to win 8 or 9 games and have fans in the seats. Most of us on here see no reason why UW shouldn’t win the North every two years and the PAC 12 every 4 putting us in the playoffs. With UW’s resources it’s shameful to have expectations lower than that but I fear this program is rotten from the head down. And Jimmy’s performance so far ain’t stopping that rot.

Harris is terrible you got a three year apprentiship with someone who built westcoast DBU with a current loaded roster with legit NFL buzz with 2 probably up to 5 players and your down to your producing third string offers. At this point with the recent success UW should be recruiting on a national level in the secondary. But i’m starting to feel a movement we are back in with Bowers, although Cato has not produced he shows signs of potential just learning on the job how to counter the bullshit. I’m calling he pulls Bowers. I think Jimmy is going to dig deep snatch up JT, Emeka, Prentice, Bowers, Franklin, sounds like Calvert is back in play. A week ago Tinae didn’t like UW, I think the heat is finally hitting the room.

I’d like to play in a playoff game where we we aren’t 17 point underdogs, play a good game and still lose by 17 points. I’d actually like to have a chance to win that game.

He’s a good player, but if you want to talk under the radar 3 stars, he’s not close to Sawyer Racinelli IMO. Just an example.
More Cam Williams than Kevin King. Smooth athlete and smart player, fundamentals seem good, just not a twitchy guy who is what UW should be getting.

This class will be loaded with NFL talent and UW will be the favorite to win the Pac-12 every year from this season forward. UW absolutely can win a national title with this class on the roster. It’s not UW’s fault that there’s a strong East coast bias when it comes to these rankings and so many West coast kids are underrated. If UW has to be the outlier because the rankings don’t accurately represent how talented this roster is going to be then so be it. Clemson won their first national title since 1984 with only one top-10 class on their roster. UW has already recruited multiple top-10 classes that didn’t get the top-10 rankings they deserved. It is what it is. I don’t care. I just want to watch the film and see NFL talent and for the most part, that’s what I’m seeing with our current commits.
