If you haven’t noticed already, UW Twitter and Oregon Twitter are beefing. UW Twitter posts videos of major wins throughout UW football history like the “Whammy in Miami” and the “All I saw was purple” games. Oregon copies them. UW Twitter starts posting weekly NFL highlights of their #prodawgs, Oregon copies them exactly with highlights of their #producks. Oregon Twitter starts posting “Throwback Thursday” highlight videos of mostly Oregon beating UW. Today, UW did a #TBT of their own and posted a highlight reel of the 70-21 game as a “fuck you” right back at them.

Oregon is so easy to hate. Fuck them so hard. Can’t wait for that game. I hope Jimmy runs it up on them in their house.

    Oregon’s easy to hate because they’re an inferior university to UW (obviously) and benefits from being in a sweet spot of having massive fan support/money but not being restricted by a liberal upper campus that sees football as unnecessary.

    UW was in this sweet spot up until the mid to late nineties. No one, NO ONE on that campus will tolerate the stuff that went on in 2000 today.

    Oregon fans don’t understand that they don’t have the same problems that Stanford, UCLA, Cal, and UW have. And based on their location, they will probably never have that problem.

    I don’t recall UW promoting Whammy in Miami.

    I think I first tweeted about it last year and this year too, before the school.

    People pay huge money for advertising. Twitter is literally (essentially) free advertising so why not take it seriously?
