Seeing rumors that Tracy Ford’s brother Thomas, who was the head coach at Simon Fraser in Vancouver, BC, is joining the UW staff. This could potentially help us with FSP kids.

Interesting. I think UW having a lot of success with FSP kids is what is mainly helping them recruit more of them. But this hire certainly couldn’t hurt if true. I’m more interested in what role Thomas would have with the staff and whether or not he could eventually replace KB as RB coach when KB’s contract is up.

I like it. Thomas is a connection inside the University. It certainly doesn’t hurt our chances with FSP kids.

Really like this hire. Obviously the connections to FSP are a huge plus, but this guy was also a head coach for a long time. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him take over as RB coach next year if we finally get rid of KB.
