Podcast: Oregon St Review, Bit of Arizona Preview

Great pod I love it. Unfortunatelly based on Sonic’s reporting I think what we saw Saturday is what we get with Jimmy’s offense. To be honest i’m getting tired of his fake bravado and bullshit talk. He said this week that the offense will look different this week. To date Jimmy has actually followed through on anything especially his talk of being “aggressive” He’s all talk until he’s not. The hat stunt this week was fuking stupid. Additionally, the whole narrative that we are deep at running back is bogus we have two good running backs McGrew & Davis, tired of the Doog mentality that everybody we recruit is great and confuse having alot of something with having quality. That narrative can go with our LB’s all pre season Doogs kept talking about our great young depth at linebacker because we have a lot of them to date, only the walk-on has done anything. Again dead horse but what position group does BG coach in the last 3-4 years that have been worth anything. Our Special Teams again suck i’m over it.

You have to exude confidence.
Look at Oregon. They sucked Mario’s first two seasons, even got his ass kicked by Boise in the same crap bowl we were in, and he didn’t waiver in his fake crap. You have to let recruits know you’re the best guy to get them coached up and ready for the next level.
You have to create a fun atmosphere no matter how much of a disciplinarian you might be.
I mean look at Oregon’s new uniforms. It’s completely fake, Eugene is nowhere near and nothing like that culture, but you have to put on a show for recruits.
Our newly debuted uniform sends the message “It’s South Alaska up here. Come up here from Mater Dei and play for us!!!

It shouldn’t matter if McGrew and Davis can’t block. Just send them out on swing routes every pass play and if the defense blitzes check it down to them as a hot route and take the easy money. Just have to make sure the QB doesn’t throw a pick 6 to a dropping OLB/DE like Browning did in the Peach bowl.

Speaking of the broadcast. I loved it when they were talking about Ryan Bowman and had the TV camera focused on Troy Fautanu who was doing a little dance on the sideline lol. C’mon man. Sure, they wear the same number, but that’s where the similarities between the two end.

The other guys are really swamped with work. They will contribute when they can. I’ve been pretty busy as well.
@SubK has been in the hospital recently and off and on before that.I think we will ramp things up after this season.

Noticed that, too. That screamed announcers don’t know these teams.

I can not recommend enough syncing the radio broadcast to you TV. I wish it was the standard.
Side note: I am actually working the radio broadcast tomorrow so you might see me if you use the “second screen” thing
