.The next target should be Peyton Ramsey. He was 20th in QBR in 2018, 13th last year. Don’t know if he fits though. He’s a dual-threat guy lacking a big arm. Donovan recruited McSorely, so perhaps Ramsey makes sense in that regard. He’s 6-2, 215.

There’s little to backup these opinions. And don’t use all-conference teams as a marker. Costello has been clearly better than Browning.
Sirmon and Morris are totally unproven. Morris is 6’0 196. He will have to be an excellent athlete or have Kellen Moore like skills to compensate for his size and lack of a big arm. Maybe he will but he hasn’t thrown a pass and we haven’t heard any hype about him during practice.
Costello would have been a massive upgrade and he has a decent arm.
Ramsey has had two decent seasons in the Big 10 playing much tougher competition. He led Indiana to one of their best seasons in a long time.
Eason didn’t shit himself under pressure. Pete’s stupid offense and not playing talent at WR destroyed his season. There’s a reason why Eason looked like Browning and Cyler Miles.
You really would take Sirmon and Morris on the road against Oregon & USC instead of Costello or Ramsey? No way man.
2016 Browning was better than anything Costello has ever done. He tied the Pac-12 record for TD passes.

You can see that watching his high school film and he’s no doubt gotten stronger in the weight room since then. He’s not a weak armed little runt like Kellen Moore was. Size is not an issue. The majority of the best college QB’s in recent memory have been short. Morris will be 205-210 after more time in the weight room. It didn’t seem to be a problem for Baker Mayfield.
Who the fuck cares about ND? They fucked up and slow-played Morris for another QB who didn’t even commit to them after Morris committed to UW so they ended up with neither of their top-2 targets. Big-mistake by them.

I have no relationship with Morris at all. I just call it like I see it. There are no evaluations that have ever said he doesn’t have really good arm talent. You’re making shit up to fit your narrative. He was rated the #4 pro-style QB in the country coming out of high school for a reason. I watch the film and I know talent. You obviously don’t.
