I recognize that voice
Sorry Chest but that is so doogy it’s cringeworthy. This program has very deep issues that need solving. A feel good video is just papering over the cracks.

First time HC with hey players opting out still won the pac 12 North. We replaced shitty wsu with Utah too on our schedule on the fly too.
Facts.
Not dooging.
Yes. Not questioning the facts. Just feeling quite discouraged with what I see as the ceiling for this program.
Being a fan since the 1960’s I’m certainly used to the ups and downs. It’s getting harder to accept though that we seem as a program and a conference to becoming an afterthought to being considered as a serious contender for championships. I was really hoping Jimmy would bring a feeling that we could be serious but at the moment it just feels like empty talk. I don’t know, maybe next season will provide a bit more substance. Guess I need more patience.
Go root for Alabama and the NFL then.
I love this conference, it’s awesome despite larry scott.
We’ve been the best team the last 5 years.
Bow down
No offence to you but that is exactly the wrong response. I’m someone who actually attends games. I’m not sure if you do or not. The Husky ticket base has been declining for many years now and Jen and the athletic dept. certainly doesn’t need ticket buyers changing their allegiance to serious programs. There is tremendous competition for the sports dollar in Seattle unlike Alabama and it’s just going to get tougher when the Kraken get going. The AD has to somehow find a way to get this program relevant for the younger generation or you are going to have a stadium with 30,000 empty seats. Go root for the NFL? Seattle already prefers the Seahawks over the Huskies sadly. Anything else you can suggest I’d love to hear it but just thinking you can cheerlead your way to making UW relevant I’m just not getting.

I go to all the games.
Ticket prices are horrible and the fan experience is awful
Yes, that is a huge problem but that lies with our AD. We’re winning on the field.
Like lol “why are you cheerleading for the team?”
Because I’m an alum and fan and we’re winning and the field and not embarrassing ourselves.
Some of our alums are siding with wsu on our North title meaning nothing. It’s pathetic.
El oh El. Get out of here. We won, they all lost. Their schools are shit, ours is awesome.
Bow down.
You are correct when you say the prices are excessive and the experience is awful. This is why I can’t understand why people praise Jen Cohen. I also agree that we are winning, sort of. Not to a degree that makes you a serious player. In addition winning is not enough. You also have to entertain. Chip Kelly revived the Oregon program from mediocrity with a style that got their fans attending. Like I said, Seattle is filled with options for the entertainment sports dollar. I’m feeling like Jimmy wants to be Stanford North in style. I can’t see that retaining older fans or attracting younger ones. I’m a long time alum but there are fewer and fewer of us in those seats. The number of non attendees at games is becoming alarming and younger families frankly are choosing more entertaining options.

Guess you missed some of the sarcasm.

I didn’t get any sarcasm.
It was a good year, when you consider our ridiculous schedule and things that came up. We switched wsu for Utah at the last minute. Never got a chance to beat Cal and Oregon which are worst we go 1-1 but most likely we beat both.
The coaches and players did do a good job.
We do have the two historically awesome pac 12 programs facing each other.
People are so upset because we had to cancel the Oregon. Whatever. Everyone had shit come up.
