Dawgman is teasing a possible transfer…

I’m not going to go in-depth on the new guy UW is pursuit of, but it sounds like the Huskies are in the running for another former high-level recruit. They were in the mix early with this kid when he was in high school, but he opted to stay in his region.

I’m not going to mention a name just yet because I haven’t gotten approval to do so, but I will say it’s at a position I didn’t consider being a “need”.

If/when his name pops up, I will be happy to share it on here, but just know that he Huskies are definitely continuing to scour the portal and are looking for talented kids they can bring into their program.

It’s almost as if Jimmy is being “aggressive” in the portal or something.

This would be a huge get.

Would change the narrative on Jimmy’s recruiting and with Bookie would really bolster our defense.

Our run D and the middle of the D has been our weakness. Bookie & this guy would rectify that significantly. Both are physical and aggressive and should be better under our staff.

Palaie is from Nevada though. Doesn’t really make sense if Ektard is hinting at an out-of-region recruit who originally opted to stay closer to home out of high school. Palaie is a West coast guy.
