Recruited initially as TE alternative which is why you haven’t heard about him as much recently following Shield Taylor offer. UW was thought to be in his top 2 with Utah, but not sure how that is changed. I dont have any knowledge of this, but I would say that given the positions he would play, TE vs. WDE, his recruitment may have slowed just due to the numbers game.
I would anticipate we circle back if Bowers/Taylor look improbable…the former a Ga lean, the latter likely Stanford.
He’s a decent prospect, seems more adept at blocking than being a big receiving TE. Lost many of our top TE prospects already so this is where we are at I guess.
