Making the playoff > Winning the Rose Bowl over the 3rd best team in the Big 10

However, the fan experience of the Rose Bowl is obviously way better than a playoff game.

I hate Oregon as much as anyone but there are a lot of things their program does that I hope JL can take note of. In particular MC has them playing an extremely aggressive and in-your face type of football. If you heard his post halftime interview he said he told his team they need to bring more intensity and get their crowd involved. Second half you see the players pumping up the crowd getting in the faces of the Wisconsin players after every play. It’s a bully attitude and it seems to wear opponents down late in games. Unfortunately lately we’ve been the ones getting bullied by them

In the Pac-12 this mindset, along with Mario having his teams play like it will win tons of games.

We know they are good recruiters, and they are better coaches than I hoped/gave them credit for (especially on defense)

We will know about Mario next year as they turn over quite a bit from this years roster, but next year they get us, Stanford, SC all at home plus miss Utah again, and will be favored to win the North again.

Jimmy MUST get us to match their intensity when we play any game as much as possible (especially them) and not tell us (and I assume Pete did this with his teams as well) “it’s just another game” when we play the Zeros.
