I, We, the fanbase, and everyone can finally stop worrying about Oregon as much as we have over the past year moving forward and have a more husky centered focus from now on since Oregon isn’t gonna be as important moving forward at least until next year.
We don’t have to listen to the constant Oregon media hype and take a breath of fresh air and finally look forward and appreciate what we have as a program and focus on our pros and cons instead of theirs.
Recruiting is FINALLY gonna open up for us after their hype falls out and the hype builds with Jimmy. There are only two teams that belong on the top of the conferences recruiting rankings every year in this conference, us and USC, and we also both happen to be the conference’s last two teams to win a Natty.
Oregon may improve next year if they start Ty Thompson instead of Shough(unless he decommits of course)and they are able to give their young defense another off-season to improve. BUT…
Oregon has a problem that they seriously need to address that lead me to believe that the north is WIDE OPEN next year too.
Andy Avalos just hasn’t looked good at all for them at DC this year. It isn’t a personnel thing because they returned almost the same front but ISM looks really bad for them and Avalos hasn’t adjusted from his scheme very much which isn’t working right now for them. He’s lining up his front 2 yards off the line of scrimmage, and overall, I just don’t see it right now with Avalos for them at DC. I’m calling it now that they’re gonna waste their time keeping Avalos employed way longer than they should because he was good year one but we’ve seen that a lot of times with DCs.
Oregon winning the Rose Bowl was their peak
Let’s finally focus on our Huskies!
