Swept by the coogs in hoops. Clearly Hopkins’ guys have cashed it in. Really disappointing.
Now Socha’s guys are putting up terrible numbers at the NFL combine. Ahmed running in the 4.6s? Harris putting up DB numbers on the bench press? Awful.

The hoops team already needs a new coach, I’ll agree there.
But football?
lol dude it’s Nick Harris. Him and Ahmed and Trey just weren’t the kind of seniors to lead a team. They’re good soph-junior secondary type players on an experienced team.
This has nothing to do with Socha.
Hopkins has lost his team. It’s sad and pathetic. Worst part is, what hope is there for next season without the one-and-done guys? That program shouldn’t be bottoming out and having to rebuild again for 2-3 years. Hopkins’ seat is getting warm. This is unacceptable.
Trey Adams was out there limping around with a strained hamstring that kept him out of the Senior bowl. He should have passed on the running events at the combine and gave the hamstring more time to heal for his pro day.
Nick Harris was always weak. Everybody knew that was his biggest weakness. That’s why he was a 2-star recruit. He wins at the college level with quickness, athleticism, and technique. No strength coach can change somebody’s genetics. Greg Gaines and Kaleb McGary say hi with their 400 pound power cleans. MJ Ale, Levi Onwuzurike, and Vita Vea say hi too. Guys with the genetic talent to get strong do so at UW.
Who the fuck knows what Salvon did to run a slow 40. He could have gained too much weight too quickly and his nervous system isn’t used to it yet? I don’t know. Who gives a fuck? It’s not like Socha killed his speed. That 89-yard TD run versus USC was fast enough.
Salvon ran a sub 4.4 at the husky combine last spring. He has been doing most of his combine training with FSP. Not that I want to blame them, the guys who do their combine training usually do really well. I wonder if they switched things up this year or if Salvon just put too much emphasis on building muscle.
