Cade is back!!!

Since 2016 we’ve had 12 guys leave early (inc Levi & Tryon). 10 drafted (inc Joe and Levi) ex Hunter & Ahmed. Oregon inc Holland and Sewell have had only 3 drafted. Maybe I’m missing one or two.

We don’t recruit at the level to immediately replace this loss of talent.

How does 2018 turn out without Gaskin & Gaines?

How about 2020 with Levi & Tryon? 4-0 of course.

Jackson & Cade were 1st team all league guys. They could be All-Americans next season.

It’s huge.

And it speaks that Jimmy’s culture and brotherhood is real and solid. For all the bitching this year, the team’s passion, character and intangibles are sudden newfound strengths under Jimmy. If this was a year ago Cade and Jax probably leave.

I’m declaring…

That the Dawgs are coming for it ALL in 2021, and I can’t wait to be apart of it.

Kirkland & Otton PAC-12 tittle or bust plus it does speak to Jimmy building a solid culture hopefully it begins to translate in recruiting, but I have a feeling it will.

Yeah I have to agree that I’ve been pleased with what the team has become.

Even in the Stanford game we didn’t fold and we didn’t play to just make the score look better. We came up with a huge play on defense and had the tying TD called back.

Won the North, should have been in the championship game. Recruiting needs to improve but I still think it will.

We should have a good offense next year no matter who is running the ball.

Defense needs to get back to end of 2019 levels.

Here is my theory which can be proven wrong later but we’ll see. My theory is on guys leaving our program early in the Petersen days(Lambo too) vs now.

Guys can’t wait to leave strict discipline programs. Look at NE with all the opt outs this year, Gronk retired too soon.

SF under Harbaugh had so many guys retire in their 20’s. Only Gaskin loved it here and wanted to play here forever. Every other player on the fence left early. Shoot we had two guys leave early last year who went undrafted even.

Otten and Kirkland both were top 2 round draft picks who decided to come back! This is major. Now every single starter on offense is coming back!

I think we bring back 10 of 11 starters on offense, and if Mcgrew or Pleasant comes back that would mean all 11 (and imo the best back is Davis) if they don’t.

For 1st time in 5 years, offense should be able to help defense out early in year buy getting into the high 20’s low 30’s until defense gets it’s feet under them.

OMG it’s happening! All they have to do now is stop playing JAGs at RB and figure out who the best five guys really are on the O-line and all of a sudden this offense will be unstoppable next season.

I am ecstatic that Cade has decided to return. Does that mean baby Otton has a better chance to commit and sign with UW?
