Participant12/22/2019 at 1:23 pm #1329I appreciate the work both did. But this is a really good sign that the decision was so decisive and it included paopao shows me that jimmy knows what needs to be done and isn’t afraid of disrupting things to get the results we expect as husky fans. Now complete these moves by getting rid of Gregory and bringing in Alexander.

I think what’s going on is that Jimmy’s in final talks with some OC. I think one of those guys is probably Chip Long and he wasn’t going to retain Pao anyway, so just canned him.
Chip Long (for those uninitiated) is a OC/TE coach.
No disrespect, but NOGAF about Paopao or TE coaches. We have the weirdest set of fans who act like a TE coach who can’t recruit is some irreplaceable part.
The names I’ve heard for OC are the same ones the dawgman guys put out Chip Long, Mike Yurcich #1 and then others.
I like them both.

Well, Lake might have some extra money to coax him out here, and he would probably have carte blanche with the offense whereas in Ohio he is still Ryan Day’s (former OC) underling. I don’t know.

Looks like Yurcich is #1 candidate for the texas OC position.
Why did Long leave notre dame?

Couldn’t get along with Brian Kelly.
He is a murderer after all.
