With that said & this is the route, what are people’s thoughts on Helfrich as new OC? Wasn’t a good HC but was a good college playcaller and knows the Pac-12 landscape well. Also wasn’t he pretty tight with Coach Pete?
Helfrich would have made sense as an OC hire for Pete. I think Jimmy will want to bring in someone younger and more dynamic than Helfrich who has a really fresh system.
