I don’t remember the last time Wilner said anything positive about Washington, but this year it’s hard to predict a clear favorite in the North anyways.
Oregon – have lots of momentum and confidence. Favorable schedule probably puts them over the top in the division.
Cal – darkhorse team whose season is entirely dependent on whether Wilcox can reload the defense. If they’re good they get UW and Oregon at home. Hard to predict them being better or worse than anyone right now.
Oregon State – I think predicting them to be good is wishful thinking. Lost Luton who was the key piece for them.
Stanford – will be really young with a lot of turnover. Probably won’t be better or worse.
Washington State – will be a bad team with a terrible defense.
Washington – Like Cal but swap an unknown defense for an unknown offense.
Oregon probably wins the division off of some low scoring games. I think the South wins the conference this year.
