Too many logical reasons to bring back GA
If you combine Jimmy’s comments about physical + attacking + difficult for his defense to stop … I think you are looking at an offense that can be effectively multiple with a similar look.
The offense we have struggled the most with in conference historically has been Stanford with big TEs that force a commitment to stopping the run but leave you open to 1 on 1 situations down the field.
A good offense to look at from this year would be Iowa St … very strong and attacking offense that creates mismatches with their TEs in both the running and passing game.
I’m expecting Jimmy to fundamentally run a similar looking offense in terms of personnel … but a far more aggressive and attacking version of it
I hope to god this is what we run. With most teams running nickle base Ds now (including us), this kind of offense causes matchup problems all over the field. Getting athletic WRs and TEs in space because the run has to be respected and allowing them to run option type routes would be so damn fun to watch.
