Jimmy said he wants the offense “to live in 11 personnel” which means 1 RB, 1TE, and 3 WR’s. Some Double TE formations (12 personnel) will likely still be in the mix but not used the majority of snaps. There’s no reason our offense can’t be explosive and score a lot of points. Talented O-line. Newton, McGrew, Otton, Nacua, and Bynum as their core skill position guys with a lot of talented guys competing to get in the mix. It’s going to be a tough, physical offense at every position. No more soft receivers. Considering we’ll have a new starting QB I think mid-30’s in points per game is a realistic goal. The scoring defense will easily average less than 20 points per game and could average less than 15.
