Thruth is Seattle is a great place to visit. But when it comes to football we all know the university is not all in. For us to get top notch coaching talent the UW will need to be all in on football and winning. UW is a second tier football school. I wish it wasn’t true but it is and the fan base is super beta. Only the few here are hardcore and we are looked upon as thug hooligans by the rest of the beta fanbase.
Remember Petersen hired himself not the other way around.
We don’t even have a real marketing team to push the narrative, because there isn’t one(narrative). Just a weak fan base and even weaker University effort.
Preach. I will say Seattle is also a pretty dope place to live.
Seattle is a great place to live. Yes, I know the drug addicted losers and tents are a black eye, but think about where a lot of these kids come from. They see far worse on their own neighborhoods.
Seattle has countless internship opportunities with global companies in every conceivable sector,non-profits, etc.
Plus you have beautiful summers, the mountains, water sports and a ton of other activities.
We have all the advantages a university and football program could ask for. We simply don’t have the know how to advertise it.
