Sure, but he’d have to leave in order to get a chance to run a defense by himself. Doubtful Coach K would step aside again after doing so for Lake.
We could easily double his salary, make him recruiting coordinator, and let him run the secondary (basically have Will Harris working for him). We could put him in a position that a ton of teams start looking at him as a DC candidate.
This would make sense if we didn’t already hire Terrence Brown. Plus the recruiting coordinator isn’t some glamorous position that coaches want, it’s basically an administrative role to organize recruiting logistics.
