Emeka isn’t going anywhere. Coming in with a 5 Star QB that he’s already has rapport with to his hometown U.
Jimmy’s strategy for press releases is a bit bizarre. I’ve listened to almost all of them and the coaches are going to ridiculous lengths to avoid answering any questions about depth charts, who’s picking up the offense or even making a play or two.
I just don’t believe most of the practice reports. Last year no one was talking about Richard Newton before game 1 and he burst on the scene.
Last year Dawgman was talking like the WR couldn’t off the line because the DB were so good and while they ended up good I don’t think I would have said the beginning of last year was exceptional DB play.
Watched the Sac St vs ASU highlight for Kevin Thompson. I find it hard to believe he’s just looking lost like the other QB given his experience.
Practice is really for making sure everyone is learning their role and executing but I never weight them too heavily because some players just practice well because they have comfort going against guys they know and some players don’t practice well because they need an opponent they don’t know.
The team has too much talent and depth. They’ll figure it out
Unless this offense can show they can throw the ball and score points, Washington has no chance with Emeka.
I agree with Sonics. But should he not consider that Sam Huard is coming in next year?
