Until proven otherwise we don’t process players because we are not “all in” to win a championship. Petersen wasn’t as it was blatantly obvious he didn’t value winning over all else. Jimmy Lake is very much a student of Petersen’s philosophy so I really don’t expect a radical change to the football factory model that the big boys follow. I would have been more encouraged about Lake if he would have “processed” Bob G. and Bhonopha but he valued friendship over job performance. I would happily change my mind but nothing Jimmy has shown so far leads me to think he will stray far from the Petersen model.
This is one thing we can agree on Nip. I’m not gonna name names, but there is a commit in this 2020 class who should have been processed so they could take Velltray Jefferson. If USC and ASU are doing it, why the fuck isn’t UW? This is about winning and acquiring as much talent as possible. It’s not the boy scouts.
