@Ballz spot on. If he’s not a big name or had unbelievable numbers he’s a crap hire. Of course I’m being “tongue in cheek” about Lashlee and Monken. It’s exceedingly easy to lose to Bama or Clemson nowadays. I’m just plumbing the pipes for the inevitable day when Donovan doesn’t call the perfect game and the #FireDonovan crowd has a field day.
@GiggityGiggityDawg I know Georgia fans personally and they’re so tired of losing to Bama. The Tide has been a near impenetrable wall for Georgia. I can’t blame Monken for Georgia’s lack of TE development but it is odd that they have 6’8 5-star TE that had what less than 5 targets? Brock Bowers better hope he either gets utilized as a strictly pass catching large WR he’s just not gonna get enough targets
On another note …shoutout to Najee Harris, Devonta Smith and any other Bama NFL lock that decided to come back. I was generally shocked. Sure Harris had questions and Smith likely didn’t want to compete for draft positions with Jeudy and Ruggs. They certainly appear to have made the right decision. I love to see kids when they bet on themselves. When Danny Shelton came back and played himself into a better draft position.
Sark – I’m conflicted about Sark not because I’m made at him for chasing a dream school over the UW. I was mainly upset with him about the way he threw shade at UW. Saying that with USC he could win a National Championship. That sounded like Mike Leach BS to me. When UW went in and wrecked him in 2015 ..I enjoyed every minute of watching him implode. I’m over it now and the scuttlebutt is Tennessee is likely done with the Pruitt experiment and Sark may end up on a short list for the vacancy. It would be good for him.
