I think they knew Dissly and Sample were good but were too pussy to let Jake Browning throw the ball over the middle. Chris Petersen’s pussy ass Boise State offense was all about minimizing risk in the passing game and mostly throwing the ball outside the hashes. When we had Ross and Pettis, this was very effective. But without those guys it was obvious they needed to throw the ball to the TE’s more instead of the JAG receivers they had but stubborn whitey was always either slow to adjust or would never make the necessary changes at all.
