So I get that we want great athletes, but all that piece does is show me that MH also cares about the people he recruits if he’s indeed trying to also sell the Uni. and not just the football program and what the players can get or have at their disposal. In a way the author of that article is attacking MH’s character. Ironic how the article loves Taggart and yet that’s exactly the kind of guy you don’t want running your program.
Without actual proof as to how he was recruiting kids, calling his tactics outdated or prehistoric is surely an exaggeration. And, even if his tactics are bad, these things are assuredly discussed between the coaches in what they’re doing and how they’re doing it. If something is off, I want to have enough faith that MH can at least somewhat adapt.
