Gee has good hands but he’s short and sluggish.
The Marrieta WR looked like Bball players …tall, wiry and fast. You could see the speed difference between most of them and Scott Jr but I will say that Scott Jr certainly looked like the most athletic EC player. They must have handled JTT well. I saw him get penetration a couple of times but the QB was just able to move in the pocket and release.
Watched Bishop Gorman vs Liberty for some Rome highlights. He looks every bit of the part. May be a bit raw at first but i’m guessing he’s going to be more of a fast twitch Ty Jones.
Marrieta guys were literally ripping off 80 yard plays like it was nothing. Just great open field speed. JTT got some plays on offense and looks incredible, but on D he never had time to make anything happen.
Don’t think Rome is anythinng like Ty Jones, more like a thick Dante Pettis, the guy is a gazelle.
